The Committee for Green Foothills (CGF) is a local-level nonprofit environmental organization working to protect open space and habitat in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, located in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. ==History== For decades, CGF has successfully opposed development of the foothills, forests, and coasts of the San Francisco Peninsula that are inconsistent with its standards and considered "inappropriate" by the organization.
